Overview

Turns a Steam inventory into a defensible ledger: real cash value, weighted-average cost and P&L across 30+ market sources, with read-only Steam access that can see the collection but never move it.

Normalize every market behind one pricing layer instead of letting the interface inherit thirty different source formats and fee assumptions.

Context

Steam shows one price, but a real CS2 portfolio is spread across 30+ markets with different fees and spreads — so traders end up guessing their cost basis from spreadsheets that rot.

Implementation

I put the source differences behind one pricing layer, kept Steam access read-only, and designed the collection view around fast scanning, filtering, and wishlists.

Current state

The live product gives a scattered inventory one consistent portfolio view without requesting trade permissions.
