Clash of Clans upgrade planner

ClashVault: Clash of Clans upgrade planner
Domain packages
3Parser, planner, and timer logic
Entitlements
StripePremium access enforced in product
Production status
LivePublic planner on a custom domain

Overview

Turns a public player profile or an imported village into plain-English priorities: what to upgrade next, with the evidence, caveats and timing trade-offs beside it, plus free calculators and clan tools. No signup to look up a player.

What I built

  • →Decision engine that ranks the next upgrade with confidence notes when data is thin
  • →Modular monorepo — separate parser, planner, and timer packages
  • →Instant player and clan lookup with no account, plus free calculators such as Left to Max
  • →Stripe-gated entitlements for premium features

Key product decision

Keep planning, parsing, and timer logic outside the interface so game-domain changes can be tested without rewriting the product shell.

Case study notes

01

Context

Clash of Clans progression is a maze of upgrade timers and priorities; players track it in their heads or in spreadsheets and still mis-prioritize what to build next.

02

Implementation

I built it as a modular monorepo — separate parser, planner, and timer packages — so the domain logic stays clean, layered on progression charts, and gated premium features behind Stripe.

03

Current state

The live planner at clashvault.app gives players one place to track progress and decide what to upgrade next.
